Kaylee Fran Marie S. Tauro

On the 28th of May 2001 on the busy hospital namely Davao Medical Hospital, now known as Southern Philippines Medical Center, Mary Bliss Tauro was most delightful, not only because her child had finally arrived but the horror that she had experienced during labor has finally come to an end but knew it was all worth it. Around 1 in the morning, a Chubby and “chinita” baby girl was born. Her name is Kaylee Fran Marie S. Tauro.

Soon after, this baby girl grew to became a spoiled playful and curious kid. She was treated like a princess for she is the only child of her mother which made her the princess of the family, especially to her grandmother and grandfather who raised her on her early years. Which resulted her to be a “spoiled brat”. She was also known to be a wanderer. She would be either, caught at the playground, playing with the swing and slide or just roam around the school campus. And because she is spoiled, she would not be in trouble all the time.

She grew up in Tibungco, a small and humble barangay in Davao city. And as time passes by the spoiled brat within her slowly faded because of the simplicity of the environment she grew up in. She learned how to appreciate the simple life Tibungco has installed in her. And as she grew older she became wiser and well-mannered. Finally she withdraw herself to her spoiled and bratty habits and fully understand the reality of life through the help of simple life of Tibungco. She matured herself up and does her best to pursue her dreams and help her mother in any means she could. As a teen, she likes to do things any usual teen would do —hang out with friends and surfing the net. And because of her wandering nature, she also enjoys exploring Tibungco. She enjoys exploring the landmarks of the barangay such as the St. Francis Xavier Parish. She also enjoys exploring the public market, specifically shopping for 2nd hand goods. And when she feels stress, she just ride motorcycles within the area which is unique in Tibungco. Her habbits are singing, reading and writing novels. She would describe herself as child-like but would be matured if needed to. She would also describe herself to be God-fearing, determined and a “goal-digger” in which she defines as, “A person who seeks on achieving her goals”. And someday she aspires to become a singer, an author and a Psychiatrist . And her quote in life is the saying, “There’s always a rainbow after the rain.”
